St George’s is part of the Church of England.

We believe that the message of Jesus Christ is for everyone, whatever their age or background.

Our aim is to serve our local community in Dagenham by sharing the best news in the world – the offer of restored relationship with God through Jesus.

We want to offer everyone in our community the chance to consider Jesus’ life and claims seriously. No pressure. No spin. Just the chance to make up your own mind.

Our staff team

Simon Smallwood - Minister

Simon has been the minister at St George’s for 10 years. He is married to Lizzy and they have two children.

Shona Hannant - Children’s worker

Shona oversees the work with 4-11 year olds and visits local nurseries and primary schools.

Tom Hart - Apprentice

Tom is responsible for the work with 11-14s while he is a student on the Cornhill Training Course.
